With over 30 years of experience as an educator, I am certified in Elementary Education, and as a Reading Teacher and Specialist. I currently teach second grade and am deeply committed to fostering the academic, emotional, and social growth of each student. While I cover all areas of the curriculum, I believe that genuine learning begins from within. When children (or adults) believe in themselves and recognize their own value, they are capable of anything.
My APPROACH
My approach is building self-esteem and self-worth as the foundation for academic success. By creating a structured, yet nurturing environment, I empower students to take ownership of their learning in order to reach their fullest potential.
